Flying Hills School
It's time for the F.A.M.E. Social. New and Returning families are invited to get together for a salad-and-pizza dinner and a chance to meet new F.A.M.E. families and catch up with those who are returning. The Social starts at 6:00 p.m. Cost of dinner is $5.00 per person, payable in advance. RSVP deadline is Friday, September 19. Look for a flier coming home with your F.A.M.E. student.
We are asking for the following donations to share to help make this evening a success:
Mrs Lindsay's class: bottled water
Ms. Knoles' class: sodas
Mrs. Stolis' class: a dessert
Ms. Geraci's class: a dessert
F.A.M.E. T-shirt Sales
F.A.M.E. t-shirts, jackets, and hoodies will be going on sale in a couple of weeks. If you're new to F.A.M.E. or if your student has outgrown his or her old t-shirt, you can order new items soon. Look for more information and prices to come home with your student.
5/6 Auditions
5th and 6th grade parents and students:
The music for this year's production of Mulan will be going home soon. Your students will need to learn the music to prepare for auditions that will be held in the month of September. Audition dates can be found HERE. Also, students will be participating in the t-shirt artwork contest for the Mulan show - more information to be sent home.
Santa Shop
F.A.M.E. will hold its annual Santa Shop on December 8 through the morning of December 12. This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. If you are able to volunteer to work in the Santa Shop, please contact Darcy Barnhill, F.A.M.E. treasurer.
e-Scrip Fundraiser
e-Scrip is another big F.A.M.E. fundraiser that's easy to use. If you haven't already done so, please sign up to use e-Scrip for grocery store club purchases or debit/credit card transactions. Last year we earned nearly $3000 from e-Scrip alone! You can sign up by completeing an e-Scrip form and sending it to school with your student or you can sign up online at escrip.com.
